Rev. Beverly
Craig is an ordained minister of United Church of
Religious Science, and
for almost ten years was Program Director for International
Youth & Family Ministries at the church's Home
Office. She is now senior minister of Center for Spiritual
Living – La
Crescenta, formerly La Crescenta |

Church
of Religious Science. Prior to those assignments,
she worked as
an Adult Education teacher for twenty-two years in
the areas
of Business Education, Nutrition, Geriatrics, and Parent
Education in many California school districts including
Mount San Antonio College, Tri-Community Adult School
in Covina, Rio Hondo College in Whittier, Pomona Unified
School District and Whittier Unified School District.
She has actively worked with youth in the area of
spiritual education for over forty years and became
involved with the United Nations in the late 1970's
when the U.N. theme was The International Year of the
Child. She is a past president of the Whittier, California
United Nations Association, one of many world wide
chapters dedicated to peace education.
In preparation for her ordination which took place
on August 18, 1996 Rev. Beverly attended a Mind-Body
Intensive Seminar conducted by John de Strakosch. She
credits John for helping her develop her personal mission
statement, "I walk my path as a messenger of Peace.”
"My whole life's meaning came together in that
statement," says Rev. Beverly, "I can say
with clarity and certainty that my intention is to
do my part in creating peace for the world's children
and their families, both personally and globally." |
